All certificate authorities must follow the same rules to issue EV SSL. Business information is collected from electronic registers. We also need to get in contact with a person responsible to sign on behalf of the company. This can take some time. The dialog with this person normally is acquired by e-mail or phone. In some rare cases we even rely on postal service. Issuance of EV certificates requires two validation specialists - the four eyes principle. Issuance of EV Certificates normally takes 1 - 3 days.
