Generate CSR
Before you start ordering an SSL certificate, you must generate a private key on the server where the certificate will be installed. Based on this key, a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) is generated. CSR contains at least one domain name but you can add more if you want to order a multi-domain certificate.
When you start ordering an SSL certificate, you must copy and paste CSR. Domain names in CSR are automatically added to the order. You can also add more domain names when ordering.
Go to our Document Center for a description of how to generate CSR.
