Main use areas

Message exchange

Qualified Certificate for Electronic Seal, which allows stamping of all evidence, including all data and transaction requests and confirmations. This enables all relevant information in communication to be sealed, which in turn protects data authenticity and integrity. With this method, if exchanged information will be needed as evidence for any dispute, the relying party can confirm who was its creator and that the information was not changed since it was created.

Examples :

  • ebMS Certificates (QC eSeal) for signing ebMS message and end-to-end message encryption
  • Business Signature Certificates (QC eSeal) for signing SEDs

Document signing (sealing)

Qualified certificate for electronic seal allows the relying party to validate the identity of the subject of the certificate, as well as the and integrity of the sealed data, and prove it to third parties. The electronic seal provides strong evidence, capable of having legal effect, that given data is originated by the legal entity identified in the certificate.
