Linux installation

Buypass' Web services make use of Java Smart Card I / O API that is only available in Java version 6 and later. The following packages must be installed:

• sun-java6-plugin
• pcscd
• libpcsclite-dev
• libccid

-and their dependencies.

For Debian-based distributions (eg Ubuntu) you can install the meta package "Buypass-scsupport.deb" found under related files. This package installs the applications and libraries you need to use your Buypass Smart card on a machine with a Debian-based distribution.
