Buypass Smart Cards for companies

The Buypass Smart Card has been developed to gather a number of security and ID-related services into a single solution.  The same card is used for visual identification, as an access card to the enterprise's buildings, access to its electronic data (e.g. logging onto PCs and connecting to VPNs) and for electronic signatures and data encryption.

All Buypass Smart Cards include a chip for storing electronic IDs.  A chip may contain internal certificates issued by the enterprise itself as well as qualified certificates issued by Buypass.  A separate administration application makes it convenient for the enterprise to execute relevant tasks related to card administration.  Including issuing Buypass Smartcards with both internal and qualified certificates, renewal and blocking cards and certificates.

Buypass is an approved issuer of qualified certificates that satisfy the market's strictest security level (Class 3 Person High).

Using an internal Certificate Authority (CA), such as Microsoft CA, enables the company to issue and administer its own certificates for internal use.  Internal CA is easily integrated with local directory functions, such as Microsoft Active Directory (AD).  Using an internal CA gives the company a flexible and secure solution, with low investment and operating costs.

All Buypass Smart Cards supports standard smart card readers.  An increasing number of PC manufacturers, particularly laptop manufactures, now include internal card readers.
