Buypass LRA for registration, issuance and administration

Buypass offers a proprietary application Buypass LRA (Local Registration Authority) for issuing and administering smart cards and appurtenant certificates at the individual enterprise.

Functions in Buypass LRA:

• Issuing local and/or general electronic identification
• Issuing replacement cards and "spare cards"
• Renewing cards and identification
• Changing PIN codes
• Refreshing PIN codes if they are blocked
• Troubleshooting

With the aid of additional equipment, users can load in copies of identity papers (passports, driving licences, bank cards, etc,), signatures and photographs. The entire process is carried out electronically, and the information is stored in a secure environment.

Buypass Access

The client application Bypass Access is used for communication with the smart card and access to the certificates on the card. The application is installed on workstations and/or terminal servers.
